01/Pure cotton fabric
The sports shorts made of pure cotton fabric are skin friendly and breathable, absorb moisture and sweat without being stuffy, and have good wearing comfort. However, pure cotton sports shorts also have a drawback, which is that their breathability will deteriorate after sweating, especially some low-quality pure cotton sports shorts that may have cotton knots after washing, making the surface of the fabric rough and not up to par.
02/Elastic fabric
The elastic fabrics mentioned here include nylon (commonly known as nylon fabric), spandex, lycra, and other fabrics, all of which have good elasticity and will not have a sense of restraint during movement. But these types of elastic fabrics also have their own characteristics. Nylon fabric sports shorts are wear-resistant but easy to deform; Spandex fabric sports shorts have poor fiber firmness, are prone to breakage and fading; Leica fabric sports shorts have high-quality elasticity, breathability, stretchability, and skin friendliness, but they are mostly blended with other fabrics.
03/Polyester Fabric
Sports shorts made of polyester fabric are lightweight and will not hinder movement, but have poor breathability and low comfort. Many sports shorts with average prices are mostly made of polyester fabric.
04/Quick drying fabric
Quick-drying fabrics are mostly a blend of polyester, cotton, and spandex, with polyester on the side close to the skin and cotton on the outside of the garment, which can quickly guide sweat to the outer side of the garment that is prone to evaporation. Therefore, sports shorts made of quick drying fabric have both the elasticity of spandex and the breathability and skin friendliness of cotton, as well as the lightness of polyester, making them popular in the fashion and sports industry.
